When emergency services are minutes or miles away, knowing how to respond matters. Kentucky Sustainable Living’s Trauma Management Course Level 1 is an intensive, one-day class designed to build your skills and confidence through hands-on practice.
No previous medical training is required. All class materials are provided, and students do not need to bring anything.

This course was a great mix of instruction and hands-on training. One on one help from the instructors was available to everyone, and everyone's questions were answered. The pace was fast, without being overwhelming. My wife and I took this course as a refresher, and it served us well. We will take it again next year to keep improving our skills.
I highly recommend this course to everyone. The instructors are experienced, knowledgeable and friendly. This class leaves you with the information needed to prepare yourself, your home, and your vehicle with medical gear to keep yourself or loved one alive until EMS arrives. The hands on workshops showing you how to correctly use tourniquets, pressure dressings, gauze, chest seals, etc. is invaluable. Emphasis is placed on the importance of taking the information provided and train, train, train on your own.
